Pretty Little Liars

Pretty Little Liars is a mystery-drama series that made it's pilot debut in 2010 based on the books by Sara Shephard. Consisting of 4 seasons and 83 episodes of thriller and suspence with an ensemble cast and 4 main characters aka The Liars: Aria, Spencer, Emily and Hanna. Who reunite after the death of their late friend, Alison, and receive threatening texts from the anonymous 'A' blackmailing them and watching their every move... Otherwise exposing their deadliest secrets and lies. I love the show as it is aimed for young adults, but also contains a mix of mystery-drama, real-life problems (like: relationships, homosexuality, peer-pressure, alcoholism) and the occasional comedy which is refreshing opposed to the typical cliché teen series. I have recommended it to many of my friends and now we all have our traditional PLL debates at lunch time, discussing the plot twists, cliff hangers -and which person is more attractive. 5/5 Amazing.
